Experience
Berglund Center for Internet Studies - Lead Web Designer - Jan '08 to May '08
My work at the Berglund Center involved the maintenance and redesigning of all their websites and bringing them up to current web standards while developing a new look and feel to the sites that would still allow access to their entire library of past submissions. This redesign included the main site as well an many secondary sites relating to the center.
Wild Zoo - Store Website - Dec '10 to Current - In development
The Wild Zoo site is an advance e-commerce site that uses an xml database to store the name and descriptions of products which is used to create the pages and sites main menu. The site also uses a JQuery based navigation and slideshow system for greater compatibility across browsers. The site is currently in development and the test site may not work at times.
Adam and Alexandra's Wedding - Website - Aug '10 to Nov '10
This website was designed to coincide with the theme of the couples wedding while pro- viding all necessary information to the user with only one click. The site features animated buttons, a JQuery slideshow and an advance guestbook with an admin control panel. The site was also created to work on all modern smartphones.
Any-O-Meter - Website for iPhone app - June '09
The Any-O-Meter website was made to advertise and display the application to the public who were using either a mobile device or a desktop computer. However the site also required a gallery. I used the Google slideshow API and held it inside a CSS container that looked like an iPhone while adhering to Apple's strict standards on display of icons and representations of the iPhone.
Hyde Labs - Personal Website - Feb '09 to Sep '11
I wanted my personal website to show some of my technical skills while also conforming to current web standards. The site is used as a portfolio for my work as well as a test ground for my new works. The domain will be repurposed at some point in the future and has been replaced by http://williamhy.de
